From 10.45, Knowle seconds had really woken up. Tight marking against promotion hopefuls West Wilts playing with 11 outfielders, meant only one goal conceded. Some very solid work by Sue and Ruth and the rest of the midfield led to some near misses in attack.

A reasonably satisfying performance.

Unfortunately the game had actually started at 10 and they had already scored 5.
Player of the match Catherine saved us from a double figure embarrassment and will now rally us/sack us in time for the next one.

Lucy Bartlett

Lucy loves crochet, flower arranging and the occasional glass of sherry. Having been raised in a convent she is one of Knowle's quieter and more delicate players, although she is nifty with the stick.
